Tips On Completing Surveys and Focus Groups

First of all, most companies will ask when was the last time you completed a survey. Even though, I don’t keep track. Furthermore, Focus groups usually choose people who haven’t participated at least for six months.

For example: “Tell me, if you won 1 million dollars, what would you do with it?” Yes, it’s really important to try and answer this in depth because If you just say that you’ll spend it; then people might wonder can you explain things in detail. Besides, there is no need to panic. In all honesty, just share how you feel. Write at least 4-5 sentences.

Sign up for many focus groups. However, when you apply to one company it may be months before they call you again. In addition, you want to be connected with more companies – that way you’ll have a higher chance of being picked by another. If you don’t get in the first time, keep applying. You’ll make a lot of money per day if you are picked. They pay between $50-$500 depending on the project.

Lastly, keep your phone handy. I missed a few calls from research groups, but they did leave a message for me to call back. However, If they call other participants and their quota fills, you have missed an opportunity to be a part.  Thus, I like to leave my cell phone number, so I won’t miss a call. The company name may not appear on caller ID, therefore, make sure to answer every call.
