Dscout is a research platform that allows companies to conduct user research studies. Additionally, it allows researchers to recruit participants, conduct remote interviews and surveys, and analyze the data collected. Dscout is also designed to make user research more efficient and cost-effective, enabling companies to gain insights into the needs and behaviors of their customers.

Additionally, Dscout offers a range of tools and features to help researchers conduct and analyze research studies, including diary studies, live video interviews, and survey templates. It also allows users to segment and filter their data, as well as collaborate with team members in real-time. Types of Surveys

Dscout calls their surveys Missions. Sign up and you will see a list of surveys. It shows the title, amount you will get paid, if completed. After you select the survey, it will provide you with an informative description on what it covers and any necessary preconditions.

The main requirements are:

Submit a photo
Submit a video
Answer questions

What I love about doing surveys with Dscout is it only takes a few minutes to know if you qualify.

Two things can happen if you qualify.

You will complete the survey in one sitting.
They will contact you if you are accepted into a special project.

What are some of the special projects?

Live Sessions: Someone will reach out to schedule you with a one on one interview.

Diary: You may have to be on a special 3-4 day board. This is when you answer a series of questions that are posted everyday.

How Much Can you Earn from DScout?

A short survey that takes 5-10 minutes, you will be paid $5 or more. Special projects that need to be schedule can be anywhere between $75-150 or more.

As I stated before, it depends on the survey. Although, I have seen a price range from $5, $10, $40, $60, $100, $125 and $150.

If one of the questions is “Why do I like apple pie?” I would say, I like apple pie because of its delicious flavor. It’s something that brings a feeling of warmth and comfort in every bite! In addition, I love apple pie because it is something that my mother made me when I was a child. I also like the apples because they are cooked with cinnamon and sugar. I like a buttery crust and this pie goes great with ice cream.

Don't be Camera Shy

When completing some DScout missions, you may be require to give a 1-2 minute video on the topic. They will tell you exactly what they want to be answered. Just be yourself and answer as complete as you can. For example, if my question is “Where do I want to spent my next vacation?” I would answer, I want my next vacation to be in Paris because I love reading and watching videos about it. I want to go to see the Eiffel Tower, taste French food and tour the museums. Just think about the question and answer like you are talking to your best friend.

In this review, Pinecone Research is a very legitimate way to make money by providing feedback on products & services. I’ve been with them for over 10 years. If you enjoy completing surveys this is one to join!

Once you’re accepted on to a panel, you’ll start receiving emails requesting that you complete surveys. There’s always a link within the email so you can take the survey directly.
You can only join Pinecone when you see their ads online.
Pinecone sends me surveys that I qualify for. Unlike some companies that will allow questions to be answered and then display not qualified.

I can usually finish a survey within 10-20 minutes.
Pinecone has products that will enable you to test products at home.
You will get 1-2 surveys per month.
I have received many product testers.

Tips for Taking Pinecone Surveys

Please don’t take surveys too quickly. I had a friend who was disqualified because she was too hasty on one of them.
Answer as soon as you can; surveys do tend to fill up fast.
It’s important that you answer this questionnaire honestly so that they can provide the best possible service for new products and ideals.

In all honesty, I use to suffer survey burnout doing many surveys, but not anymore! I feel you can only answer so many questions and some of them are overly repetitive. When I first started, I would try to do a lot just to earn quickly. After all, the more you do the more money you get. I read people claiming you can work $10 an hour doing surveys, but who wants to work all day long on surveys that pay .10-.50 cents or less? I have better things to do with my time.

1. Only sign up for companies that pay you real money for your hard work.

As a matter of fact, survey fatigue can occur when you have to do many questionnaires that pay you pennies or under a dollar. First of all, check out a company FAQ to see how much they pay to see if it’s worth your time signing up. The companies I list pays well. I aim to show only the ones I find to be reliable and of good quality, based on my own experience.

Secondly, any company that takes over a year to earn $20 is a total WASTE of your time and value. Furthermore, any survey that takes months should also be avoided. There are several that pays well. For example, Intellizoom pays $5-10 per survey and the length of time to complete is 20 minutes long or less. They recently increased the amount you can earn. 2. Multitask completing surveys.

Additionally, you can decrease survey burn by multitasking. Unless it specifies that you have to stay on the page to complete, you can do several at one time. I put up 4 to 5 at one time. This way I can go back and forth to complete them. This saves me so much time. Doing more than one at a time decreases burnout. It’s like killing multiple birds with one stone.

3. Stop when……..

In fact, you should stop and take a break when you get tired. You’re clearly not getting any enjoyment from the process anymore, so it might be worth focusing on something else. If not, you might be tempted to hurry through the remaining questions and not answer them honestly.

The survey can cancel if you choose the wrong answer and you may get banned from future participation. For instance, answering “Yes I’ve been to the moon.”

4. Keep a record of what you make

Fourthly, to avoid survey fatigue is to keep a list of the survey companies and how much you got paid. I love that this is so easy to do. It can show you how much you made as well as determine if the company is worth continuing with.

In fact, keeping a good record and actually seeing your progress will keep you motivated when you feel discouraged. I have been a part of research companies for years and it has paid off for me. It’s free and easy, I can do it right from my home, and have made a nice piece of cash to help provide for my family.

5. Check what people are saying on Survey Police.

Survey Police (see link here) is a great resource to avoid burnout with the wrong business. It also helps to see if it is worth signing up with certain companies.

When I had problems with survey sites, I would go check here. Most of the time, people are having the same issues. Yes, this is very common. Some companies are so close to going out of business and shutdown that they will want free work in order to keep their doors open. One company I was with (One Opinion) used to be great, but then I started to have issues. I checked out the reviews of Survey Police and others were having the same problems. I was with them long enough to cash out then closed my account.

Special Projects

The Special Projects label above are from two companies. For instance, a special project will earn you more money. You get into these by doing regular surveys and then an offer is made. For example, If I did a survey about skin care, I may be offered to do a special project about it. This may be a special community board that pays $10-15 a month or a 3-day board that pays $150. In the last couple of months, I did a couple of projects and above is the total. You get into those by participation in regular survey companies. You may also be chosen to be in a long or short term project.

Benefits of Special Projects

Some of these special projects may pay monthly. Earning extra money from survey companies is a great way to save for Christmas gifts or birthdays. Some companies will only offer gifts cards or items. I like to build up my Amazon account from my surveys so by the end of the year, I have enough money to shop. If the company offers points only this can be converted to gift cards, gifts, or whatever they offer on their site. In conclusion, completing surveys is a great way to earn extra income. For me they are fun to do. I feel more confident that my time is no longer being wasted since I dropped the energy zapper companies that want a lot of my time without decent compensation.

Focus Groups, Communities, Special projects Within Survey Companies.

There are plenty of ways to earn money in Focus Groups and other communities. Being a part of regular survey companies can open doors to focus groups, communities and special projects. I am on a few special projects that basically are passive income. One of my projects I have made over $1,000 and I only have been with this company for just over a year. I do nothing but allow a meter to run in my home.

Survey companies are a gateway to communities. Communities are message boards. The company selects like minded people. It may be a group that will be discussing getting older, or a store group like Macy’s. They will pay $5 or $10 monthly. It does not seem like a lot but that’s $60 or $120 a year from one company. Imagine what you can make if you are in several communities or in several survey companies. Some offer bonuses and special projects within the special group. For example, in the community they may schedule a special chat and pay $50 for your participation; or send you a product to test. It is not a day job, but a nice supplemental income. I have used my money to cover Christmas gifts and birthday gifts. I have also received some nice everyday products for free!

Types of products I received.

Laundry products, coffee makers, Food, snacks, a weight loss program with food, personal products for my hair and body, oral products, clothes, Amazon gift cards, Visa gift cards, makeup, bathroom products, seeds/veggie plants, organic pesticides and free groceries delivered to my home.

The Cons About Survey Companies:

- It may take time to build up money.
This is why it’s so important to belong with the right companies. Keep a record of what you are making with each company. Keeping a record will help you to determine which ones to drop and keep.
- Not having the patience to wait
It takes time to build up enough money to cash out. For instance, one company may offer points and you can’t cash out until you reach 5000 points equivalent to $50. If you are doing several surveys that should not matter much because while you are building points in one, you may be cashing out in another.
- Expecting a lot of money quickly
I have referred people to do surveys and they give up because they are not making what I do. People only see the big checks or products I get, but don’t realize that it takes work and consistency. If you need a lot of money quickly then this is not for you.
- Some surveys are long
Most surveys will be 10 to 15 minutes, but some are crazy long. I do the long ones only if it pays well and is from a company that I know is good. You are not obligated. Some have been so long that I just decided to leave it. Remember, some surveys will lead to product testing.

This company has enabled me to take part in several tester products for valuable compensation.

Lifepoints Panel

Lifepoints Panel took over Mysurvey and Globalmarket (which was one of my favorites). They have also been around for years. I can vouch that it’s a good company although I have not scored as many points since the merger. It could be because I don’t do a lot of surveys like I used to with them. They have projects within their surveys that will allow you to earn more money.

EPOL

EPOL has some very interesting surveys. I don’t receive a lot of emails from them, but they offer big points per survey. Points are converted to gift cards, gifts, cash, and a list of various products. I notice that their surveys can be time sensitive meaning if they fill up with their quota you will not be able to complete. It’s best to do surveys right away from this company.

I-SAY

I-Say is another one I have been with for many years. They send out a lot of surveys. Of course the more you do, the more money you will make. The number of points required to redeem rewards also varies, but generally, you can redeem 500 points for a $5 gift card or $5 PayPal payment. You can get into big projects that will enable you to earn more.

E-Rewards

E-Rewards rewards has improved over the years. You also make points which can be converted to the list of items offered on their website. In the United States, members can redeem e-Rewards currency for gift cards to retailers such as Amazon, Starbucks, and Target, as well as for airline miles, hotel points, and magazine subscriptions.

Viewpoint Forum

Viewpoint Forum is a survey company that I don’t get many surveys from them, but they are pretty good. This is another company that may offer special projects that involves testing of products in which you can earn more money.

E-Search do not send out many surveys, but they do they offer a high value amount per survey and opportunity for higher paid projects. E-search pays through PayPal so make sure you have an account set-up. Each survey may be 1-2 dollars or more.

Intellizoom

So, here’s the deal with Intellizoom. First up, it’s different because you record your answers. Yep, you heard right! To get started, you take a recording test. Just be yourself, speak clearly, and share your thoughts. They even show you examples to guide you.

Earnings Galore

Next, once you pass, they send a ton of surveys your way. Now, the money part: your earnings vary based on the project, where you’re located, and who you are. Generally, you can make $5 to $20 per survey. But sometimes, you might hit the jackpot with surveys worth $30 or more. All in all, Intellizoom offers a unique and potentially lucrative survey experience.

American Consumer Opinion Panel

ACOP is another good company with projects. This company has been around for many years. I love during surveys for them because they are never too long and an open door for special projects. Once you are accepted into special projects, you earn more money.

To be able to redeem Points, your account must have a minimum balance of 1,000 Points.

Brand Institute

So, this survey company hooks you up with $2-5 for each survey you finish. Nice, right? They send the cash straight to your PayPal account. I get a pretty good number of surveys from them, I gotta say. Now, not all will be a perfect match for you. Some you’ll qualify for, others not so much. But hey, the screening quiz is super quick.

Solid Pay

I really like doing their surveys. The pay rate is solid. Sure, some questions might make you think a bit, but as long as you read carefully and answer honestly, you’ll do just fine. And that’s the lowdown!

First of all, most companies will ask when was the last time you completed a survey. Even though, I don’t keep track. Furthermore, Focus groups usually choose people who haven’t participated at least for six months.

Additionally, some surveys may ask you questions about your writing abilities. For example: “Tell me, if you won 1 million dollars, what would you do with it?” Yes, it’s really important to try and answer this in depth because If you just say that you’ll spend it; then people might wonder can you explain things in detail. Besides, there is no need to panic. In all honesty, just share how you feel. Write at least 4-5 sentences.

Three

Sign up for many focus groups. However, when you apply to one company it may be months before they call you again. In addition, you want to be connected with more companies – that way you’ll have a higher chance of being picked by another. If you don’t get in the first time, keep applying. You’ll make a lot of money per day if you are picked. They pay between $50-$500 depending on the project.

There are many legit survey sites to make money online. I have been completing them for many years. Surveys are one of the most popular ways for people to make money online.

I am going to list the best legit survey sites that will not only pay you for your opinion but also provide you with a variety of surveys.

Some of these sites offer surveys that are more specific and some offer surveys that are more general.

Here are legitimate online surveys that pays well. Taking online surveys is a really good way of making quick money at home. It’s also flexible because you can do them anytime of the day you want. You can watch TV or listen to the radio while you answer questions, it’s really up to you! You can find tons of survey sites these days, but some are easier than others. Some will take seconds or minutes, while others take 30 minutes or longer.

These surveys pay well and are worth your time.

Schlesinger Group

The Schlesinger Group is a legit online company. It is an open-ended platform where people discuss all of their opinions and viewpoints on a variety of topics. I have been with this company for many years and I’ve been fortunate enough to visit one of their branches in San Francisco. This company not only have paid surveys, but Focus groups. I have made $100-$300 in this platform.

Focus Forward

Focus Forward is another legit, great company that has been around for many years.

This company provides payment for in-person interviews, phone interviews, and long-term projects based on the study requirements.

When you sign up, you will receive an email to complete a survey. If they find that you are a good fit, they will call you in for an interview and to answer any other questions. Projects from this company will pay $50 or more.

I have been payed $50-$200 for special projects.

Prolific

Prolific is a real established market research firm. To join Prolific and take surveys, head to their website and sign up as a participant. After verifying your email, fill out your profile and prescreening questions to get matched with relevant studies. Don’t forget to enter your payment details, usually via PayPal. Once you’re set up, you can browse available studies, participate in the ones that interest you, and earn money that you can cash out after reaching the minimum withdrawal amount. And voila, you’re a data goldmine for researchers and a bit richer yourself When I first signed up, I was placed on a waiting list but after one day, I was off that list. Once you complete a survey they will notify you if it was approved.

20/20

20/20 offers a variety of focus groups that pays well.

Number four on my list of real surveys is 20/20. I’ve been with this company for a long time They have a branch in my state and have been around since 1989. They also have facilities in Nashville, Charlotte and Miami. You don’t need to be in their state to participate because they offer online projects. If you do live in the area, you will have the opportunity to visit and be in a panel group. On site facilities participants will get paid right after the meeting. They offer both surveys to complete and an opportunity to be in a focus group.

You complete a short survey and if you are a fit for one of their projects you may be invited participate in online discussions, chats, and web meetings. Surveys are usually short, but online discussions can take up to 90 minutes to complete. I generally earn between $50 to $300 with this group.

Watch Lab

Watch Lab is on the top of my list as a high paying legit survey company. I have completed many projects for this company and if you qualify, they will call. They also interview and will have you answer pre-screening questions. They are really professional. I completed several projects and was paid within a few weeks. I had a daughter who was scheduled to do a $100 project, but they overbooked the amount of people needed. In this case she still got paid just by being ready to start.

Fieldwork

I do not get many invites from Fieldwork, but recently I had a Zoom meeting with them. They pay well and the survey questions are not long, so they take just 5 minutes or less to answer. If they think you are of good fit, they will contact you for one of their survey projects. They pay $100 or more since you’ll likely be pick for an online discussion

User Interviews is truly remarkable! It is one of the top consumer research platforms that reward people for expressing their opinions.

The key thing is to be yourself, talk loud enough and just express your opinion. They will walk you through examples. Once qualified they send out a lot of surveys. It’s a great way to earn a nice amount of cash. Most surveys are $5 or $8 and only take about 10-20 minutes and some are shorter.

Probe Market

Probe Market is a Research is a company that offers various research services, such as online surveys and data analysis, for different industries like healthcare, finance, and consumer products. They have over 25 years of experience and can assist businesses with market segmentation, brand awareness, customer satisfaction, and more. All you have to do is filled out your information on their website & when they have a project, they will contact you. They will tell you the type of survey, the amount and a link to fill out to see if you qualify. They pay $125 or above.
